We are Back2nature a small, friendly gardening service based in Brighton and Hove. It's our aim to provide a quality service at an affordable price.

We are qualified gardeners who specialise in soft landscaping, garden maintenance and garden clearance and have a wide range of gardening experience. We have clients in Brighton, Hove and throughout east and west sussex and are environmentally friendly - we do not use petrol tools.

Summer

Watering is so important in dry spells. A water butt system may be a good investment. Make sure you don't water fragile plants during the heat of the day - it may scorch their leaves.

Weeds grow like wild-fire at this time of year so lots of weeding to be done in the garden. Hoe out smaller weeds but you have to the roots for more stubborn ones.

Dead-head plants, shrubs or trees that have already bloomed. Roses will bloom a second time if dead-headed properly.

We provide a year round gardening service. A garden is not just for summer. There are a number of jobs that need to be done throughout the year both before and after the summer season. With a planting scheme your garden can look good throughout the year with beautiful colours that mirror the seasons.

The importance of houseplants

As well an outdoor gardening service we recognise the importance of having certain houseplants in our homes. They can rid our homes of pollutants found in paint fumes, varnished wood, etc in fact certain houseplants really are indoor air cleaners.
